Well, this guy's playing hard to get in a different way entirely, but honestly, Erika thinks the ruder ones are a little easier to deal with than the shy and timid ones. She doesn't have to pull punches. ]

[ Thankfully, Erika knows better than to grab the hand of a stranger who looks like he's still debating shanking her, so she'll just jauntily take the lead. As far as she's concerned, this is still a win. ]

sighs, glancing at the direction it came from. ]

[ Erika opens her mouth-- then closes it abruptly as what looks to be an absolutely humongous soccer ball rears up from the cloud of smoke in the distance. Despite only having eyes and no mouth, this doesn't prevent it from yelling its problems in a very monotone but still ridiculously loud voice.

"I DIDN'T MAKE THE TEAM EVEN THOUGH I PRACTICED AND PRACTICED BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE ME A CHANCE BECAUSE I'M THE NEW KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID" ]

I mean, we're going towards a giant monster, so it'd be sort of nice if you could defend yourself.
