ryo just stands up, walks over to where akira is sitting, and goes to pick up the cat. he is walking away from the table now. jd just plops his head over ryo's shoulder and looks at akira, meowing back at him.

He just sits there like a dingdong and watches, dumbfounded, as Ryo abducts his son right out of his lap.] Eh--? Ryo?! [HELP.

Ryo is leaving with his son! Why.........

He glances back at the plates on the table, still bewildered at this turn of events. Did he make Ryo mad by teasing? Wtf. Ryo is so finicky with his moods. He gets up to go after Ryo and the kidnapped furbaby.]

[ he is going back to the kitchen... and he wordlessly plops jd onto the floor, and is going to pick up a food bowl. dinner for cat.

he glances over at akira, and then looks down at jd. ]

He's a bad influence, cat.

He still thinks Ryo is maybe a little mad for some reason even though he comes into dinner time making. He glances between Ryo and JD. This is a tease, but he does not say it playfully because he wants to see what Ryo will say or do:]

[ he tugs at a stand of his hair, glancing at him, and then turning his attention back to giving jd his food. ]

... then what will I do with all this meat?

[ jd pushes ryo's hand away so he can get to the food. ]

[He gives up trying to keep the slight wry smile off his face. It's probably the fact Ryo is cutely pulling at his hair on top of everything.]

JD will eat it probably.

[This is teasing.

He stands right in the middle of the doorway, leaning on the frame, blocking it with his body.]

He can't eat that much.

[The cat is already GROWN. They're in HELL. Ignore that. He knows that much, but refuses to not use it for his joke.

He crosses his arms.]

Hm, something equivalent to the amount that was spent.

but he stands up, taking a moment to dust off his knees, and he slowly approaches akira and the doorway. ]

I wonder what that's worth...?

[They... didn't pay anything. They just stole. He will not bring this up just for Ryo's sake even though he should.

His eyes watch Ryo, looking over his face when he comes over.]

You tell me. What's it worth to you, Ryo?

[ listen. ryo thinks he should be allowed to get away with anything because he is actually satan and alex really needs to be grateful he did not attempt a coup.

but he pauses, considering... before leaning in. his hand reaches up, attaches itself to akira's (face) cheek and squeezes. ]

He is TRYING to be CHARMING and PLAYFUL, and Ryo is out here pinching his CHEEKS (face) and ruining it!!! He immediately shifts to attention, bunching his face up.]

Tension down his spine makes him rigid. Not the EAR. His hands habitually grab Ryo’s waist, and he curls his fingers.

Why did the bullying turn around…?!

He growls huskily and pulls away, turning to go back to the table not because he’s mad, but because he is too worried about unfraying at the seams.]

[ help. he absentmindedly places a hand over where akira had placed his on his waist. he's more amused than anything, not really taking offense to akira's abrupt departure.

ryo will just double check that jd is good before walking back to the table. ]

I can go start the bath for you, it'll take a bit for it to get full.

[A cold bath would do him wonders, but he does not want to do that OR ask for that.

He sits back at the table so he can finish the curry, and also finish whatever is left of Ryo’s too. Housewife and garbage disposal.]

…Okay. Yeah.

[He forgot about Ryo promising him a bath.]

Mm. And you can have my bed again for when you go to sleep.

[ since akira barely wanted to leave it in the first place.

but ryo will just quickly make his escape after that to head upstairs for bath. jd will eventually exit the kitchen to see what akira is doing now that he ate his food. ]

[Ryo is killing him. It hasn’t even been a day. This is the worst thing. He’s… He was trying to behave! He was trying to go (i typoed this as ho and almost didn’t catch it) slow.

But there is never any slow with Ryo it feels like… except for Ryo changing. It’s all fast and sudden. He’s going to have to rip the band-aid off sooner rather than later apparently.

He gets to the door of the kitchen by the time he runs into the cat.]

Good dinner, JD? Ryo’s in the bathroom.

[He goes into the kitchen to clean up and put everything away.]

[ it's fine.

upstairs ryo will start to run the bath, and then will go to grab a spare towel and find some clothes that akira can change into. he'll place it all on the counter. the bathroom is very large, with a big tub and a separate shower and nice countertops. i tried googling images and got lost in the selection so i gave up.

but he wanders back down when the tub is full, and he calls from the bottom of the stairs, ]

You can come up whenever you're ready.

[ and then he will walk back up as well. ]

[I am imagining Ryo’s very expensive and clean bathroom.

In a few minutes, the sound of Akira climbing the stairs drifts to the second floor.

He already has his shirt off, clutched in one hand. The other arm is occupied by the black cat he has perched over one shoulder. JD is giving him a few headbutts of affection, purring loudly.

Akira makes his way for the bathroom with the cat in tow.]

[ anna once again refusing to elaborate on how he is getting his shirt off

ryo actually isn't in the bathroom, he is in his room. but once he hears akira coming he will step out to address him. ]

I placed a towel and spare clothes in there. If you need me, you can call for me. Don't get my cat wet.

[tearduct]

[It’s magic. The shirt comes off by slutty magic.

He pauses at the door to glance at Ryo.] Thanks. [One brow raises like before when they were eating.]

Your cat, huh?

[He snorts a laugh, then rubs the side if his face on the cat affectionately.]

Do you want me to leave the water for you to soak in after?

[Does… Does Ryo even need to shower. He’s an angel. Are they just always clean and pure? Does a fallen angel become dirty?

Just existential things.]

[ he looks slightly offended that akira noticed something that he said. how dare you listen when ryo says it's his cat...

but he will ignore that and just move onto the next question. ]

Mm, that's fine, yeah. Just tell me when you're done. Don't drown.

[ he will pop back into his room. ryo will give him some privacy to bathe. ]

[He noticed. And he thinks it’s amusing and funny, so now Ryo will never hear the end of it. JD gives Ryo a merowl.

He goes into the bathroom and puts JD down on the counter even if Ryo may or may not have a conniption about it. The door stays open in case JD wants to go out; he won’t be able to open the door for a scratching cat otherwise.

The rest of the clothes get stripped off, and then the shower starts. He takes the time to get clean before the sound of him splashing into the tub comes. His sigh of contentment is so loud. JD’s meow echoes in the bathroom.]

You’re gonna fall in if you get up here.

ryo tries not to think about what's going on in there. it's not for sexy reasons but he is really hoping that cat does not fall in or else he will have to deal with a wet cat. horrendous. how chaotic akira can be is all coming back to him now

but he is going to gather clothes for himself, and then also grab some of his things so he can bring it all downstairs for the couch... when he passes by the bathroom he peeks in to like
