like promised, taka is there. he helps with most of the setup; getting the snacks, criticizing senri's picks for a playlist, tidying up the apartment to make it more guest friendly. senri still has the majority of the say since taka, admittedly, is still annoyed by ryu talking about how they were their parties, but he helps enough that senri is probably happy about that.
right before the start of it he has to step out due to an urgent work matter that can't be avoided. it's only a quick thing, lasting just a little over an hour, but it just means that taka misses the very start of it. which... is probably a good thing, since they won't be officially revealing that they're dating until the next day. taka isn't entirely sure if they're allowed to out themselves in front of these people beforehand?? he isn't even sure who's on the guest list because he didn't care to ask. so, if they want to keep it quiet tonight, it's probably best if he isn't around when guests first start to show up.

but he texts senri when he's on the elevator up, and he ends up sharing it with one of the guests, one of the stagehands from the show who looks vaguely familiar from the time taka was backstage. ]
because you see, senri is having a grand old time? he's not drink but he's definitely already had the inaugural toast with everyone since he couldn't wait for taka to come back for it. it's okay, he says, because he'll have a second toast with the other yumenosaki alums altogether. yuma, touji, yuni, shigure, shinya, minato, issei, jin, yanagi - a whole lot of them managed to come in for the party, even though it seems like no one was able to snake charm kasuka into attending.

he's in an unbelievably good mood what with his freedom being granted to him, and he already has a drink in hand as he's mingling with everyone - though he turns when he sees the door open, because he's a good host, and immediately wanders toward it once he sees that it's taka!! he wanders much faster than he did with any other guest, actually.
and then his momentum doesn't really stop as he attaches himself to taka]
[ taka was actually in the middle of pocketing his phone when senri is suddenly there, and there's a moment where he fumbles with it to try not to drop it while he also holds onto senri. the second thing is more of a reflex than anything, since if senri is there then of course taka is going to grab onto him. ]

[it's fizzy, fruity, and you can barely taste the alcohol! it's probably bad news that senri has such a full cup of whatever this concoction is. but he'll let taka take it and then use the opportunity to wrap both of his arms around his waist and press his face into his neck]
