[ let's move on from what happened last night
in the well known (throws dart) shinonome university, by coincidence two of the top players of rival (looks at writing on hand) esports teams are attending. and like, that's fine? it's a large school, so it's not like they'd have to run into each other or anything. except during their entire first year of college, that's basically what they did. they kept choosing the same classes, and they made some of the same friends, and it turned out that a large campus can be pretty small after all?
but despite all of that, they still did a rather good job at not killing each other? but then towards the end of their freshman year, one of their mutual acquaintances threw a party that they both ended up at. and they, allegedly, drunkenly hooked up. but then summer came and they both were gone for several months with no contact, so it's basically like nothing happened!
and so it's the very start of their second year at school, right before the term actually begins when everyone is settling into their new dorm rooms. takaomi is in the process of setting up his side of the room, as his new roomie hasn't shown up yet. he tried very hard to find a place where he didn't have to share, but as there were none available, he had to begrudgingly go for this. it's fine? it's fine. as long as they're not annoying it's all good. ]

What am I going to do, Yumapi?! You and I were supposed to stay up together! You, meeting deadlines! Me, trying to get to higher ranks! Camaraderie! Friendship! And instead I'm probably stuck with some boring, weird, smelly, awkward—

Oh no!! It's even worse!
