[Without missing anything, Sasuke follows after Taka, letting the other boy flash them inside and lead. He keeps Taka in his sights so he doesn’t accidentally run over Taka, but his head turns to take in the rest of the venue as they pass along.
It is crowded, but... there is an unseen energy in the air, in everyone. Excitement. It’s not unlike the energy he has felt when he was younger, in school during exams, or the energy before a battle with Naruto. Hm. He likes it.
The merchandise display gets his full attention when they approach, even if he doesn’t really stretch a hand out to touch anything.] Mm. [It’s agreement. Senri is good at pulling strings for them for things like this.] You can pick. [He doesn’t mind. His fingertips finally brush the bottom edge of one of the folded shirts. Something black with a splash of red and purple.]
[If the offer spurs him, his face doesn’t change. He looks down along the rest of the folded shirts until he gets to Taka. There, he pauses, glancing at the garish but charming pink shirt.] It looks like him. [In case Taka needed a reason to get it aside from the most obvious one the two of them can clearly see.

[Visibly, Sasuke looks... surprised by the request.] I’m... [Not cut out for that, is what he wants to say, but... Saying it feels like he is giving up to easily, so he looks away at the rows of shirts and hoodies and other merchandise. Their aesthetic is similar enough. It just feels... like he is gunning for disappointment anyway.
None of the shirts are bad. Sasuke picks through a few, considering. There’s a white one covered from collar to hemline in edgy, abstract art and font, the colors a mixture of green, orange, and black. Seems fitting, in a tongue in cheek way. He scoops it up to show it to Taka, already planning to accept defeat for the sake of a joke.]
[Good Halloween colors really, Terrifying, just like their Plasma run.] Okay... [He’s not sure whether to be shocked or not. Reaching out, he takes the shirt back from Taka and hangs it over one shoulder so he can have both hands free for looking through shirts. He goes back down the line, hunting for either another for himself he likes better or the one he had seen before.
Instead of the typical color scheme of the first, he ends up with black one splotched by bright blues and a little yellow. It doesn’t look like him in comparison, but it does suit him, the blue.
But then he goes to pay for both of them. He pulls out??? money??? Where...]
[He’ll let the boyfriend buy the rabbit the souvenir. But he offers the bag with Taka’s shirt in it out to Taka after he purchases both of theirs.]
Did a favor for Shigure.
[He says this with the most nonchalant, flat expression and deliverance ever.]
[This one, single time, Sasuke is blessed by Taka not wanting to talk about anything between them because
Sasuke really does not want to explain what the favor was to Shigure despite the fact the lack of explanation and Shigure in the same vein are ominous as hell.
[It’s too late. He is a third year and a ninja. He is involved in the mafia.]

He does, however, have a lot of strength, so he can edge his arms on either side and get them to part for him and Taka as they pass. he's fairly content? it's kind of funny how different his attitude is when he's surrounded by music versus... any other time, really. ]

Sasuke already gets some scowling when he shoulders his way back out while everyone else is slowly piling in. Dammit. Damn Taka, honestly.] Move. [He breaks out with room to spare--but this doesn't mean he'll return to it.
After a few minutes, he finds some water bottles for the two of them, has to dodge a gaggle of girls trying to hit on him, and is veered in front of by edgy younger teenagers. He's irritable by the time he gets back... to a fucking very crowded venue. And he's not the tallest person by any means. He can't see hide nor hair of Taka all the way at the front left. Ugh.
Briefly, he closes his eyes. And then he begins his wade through. It's stuffed, suffocating. He makes it halfway before getting clocked under the chin by the elbow of a wild and excited arm. Their mistake is they don't apologize, but instead look at him like he's the problem. You know what?
He grabs a fistful of their clothes, both water bottles in the other arm. Taka can see him, just barely, through the crowd, yelling over the noise.]
taka is just going to have to... elbow his way through. the good thing about being a rude shit is that he does not look back when people yell at him for shoving, because some things are more important. it takes him a little longer than he wanted to, but he eventually reaches the group
he tugs on the back of sasuke's arm. ]

He lets go and backs off, but had enough of a mean mug there's no follow-up, thankfully. So he's left to file off with Taka again, back through the thick crowd of people for their spot up front.]
