[ She does see the chicken farmers in the distance trying to corral in their livelihood, and she frowns that they had to move at all. They're doing all they can, but it's still not enough, is it?
She should be giving her people a better future than this. ]
I'll help. [ She can already hear Sieg scolding her in the back of her mind, but if she can't help here, can she really say she's helping anywhere? ] Where is their transport carrier?
[ Or container. Or whatever or however they being moved. ]
[ The chicken farmers will also start protesting once they see her, but she's here and she's catching chickens. It's not how she expected this afternoon to go, but she doesn't mind it. That Izetta is so willing to help—to help her country, her country's citizens, in general—is one of her finer qualities.
That could work... but it's figuring out how that's an issue.
[ she taps her chin, thinking. it would be much easier if she could use her magic on living things, in cases like this... she could just float the chickens over. ]
Maybe with food? I'd just be worried about other animals getting into it as well.
If we're careful with how we spread it, it should be manageable. A small pile in front of the wagons, perhaps.
[ They'd have to congregate there instead of multiple spots along a trail. That might work better, but it's not like she's worked with chickens often to know their behavior. ]

An archduchess collecting chicken feed is an everyday occurrence. No chicken farmer should look in her direction and recognize her even though she's not wearing her incognito clothing. (She's lucky enough they're all too busy with their backs turned to her.)

[ Somehow, a chicken jumps right at Finé. Instinctively, she holds her arms out to catch them. ]

[ there's a slight bow, and a chicken squawking startles her enough to make her straighten back up. she had been hoping to clean this problem up before finé caught wind of it. ]
