ryo isn't exactly interested in it, but he's also not really interested in a lot of things. also, at this point he is fairly used to be stronger than everyone, so unless he runs into someone else who is insanely overpowered there's not much point in that kind of fight.
but. akira's growth is something he is very much invested in. ]
